Construction note: The main cord of the khipu is formed into a large loop by having its knotted end passed through its twisted end.
This is one of several khipus acquired by the Museum in 1907 with provenance Ica. For a list of these khipus, see UR1100.
UR1161 and AS162 are designated by the same Museum number. The main cord of UR1161 has been formed into a large loop. Similarly, AS162 contains a khipu with a looped main cord.
The sum of the values on UR1161 is 200. The first 6 values sum to 100 and the last 2 values sum to 100.
