  1. This is one of several khipus acquired by the Museum in 1907 with provenance Ica. For a list of them, see UR1100.
  2. By spacing, the khipu is separated into 2 parts. The first part has 6 groups of 2-4 pendants each, and the second part has 4 groups of 3 pendants each.
  3. The first 3 groups of part 2 have the same color pattern: BB:W, W, W.
