- This is one of several khipus acquired by the Museum in 1907 with provenance Ica. For a list of them, see UR1100.
- By spacing, the khipu is separated into 3 groups. Each group has a similar color pattern: MB, MB: GG, 2 mixtures of MB and W, W, W, MB-W, MB:W. The mixtures of MB and W vary. They are MB:W/W/MB, MB/W, W/MB, and MB:W/MB. (Note. that on the khipu, the 2 colors W and MB have been used alone or in combination in 8 different ways.) Where there are only 6 pendants in a group, it is the first and third positions that are non-existent.
- For all 3 groups, when the colors are aligned, the last 4 values have the same relative magnitudes. Namely:
Pi7 > Pi6 > Pi8 > Pi5 for i=(1,2,3)
